Every textbook on this shelf is free, to every Guyanese student, at every grade. No payment. No login. No conditions.

I was a student at a public school in Berbice — New Amsterdam Multilateral — when I sat the CAPE examinations and finished as the top student in all Guyana, two years running. I did not have advantages; I had a syllabus, discipline, and people who sacrificed for me. These books are written so that the next child in a public school anywhere in this country — on the Corentyne, up a river, in town — has in her hand, free, what I had to fight for.

The exams are now free. The books that carry you through them should be too.

Each book follows the same method I studied by: the story of why a topic matters in Guyanese life, the substance stated plainly, worked examples with every step shown, honest examination strategy, and practice with full answers. Every book carries its footnotes, its sources, and its bibliography — you are entitled to check everything I tell you. That habit, too, is part of the education.

Books are published here as they are completed, whole and free. The shelf grows in order of the country’s need — the full library plan spans every main subject at NGSA, CSEC and CAPE (from Mathematics and the sciences to Theatre Arts, in whose pioneer first examination batch the author sat), together with new studies no Guyanese textbook line has yet offered: civic and legal literacy (Know Your Law), financial literacy, digital and AI literacy, media literacy, entrepreneurship, creative writing, heritage and folklore studies, environmental studies of Guyana, and public speaking & debate. Two public-education volumes are written for every Guyanese, not only students: AI & the Future of Our Developing World and Oil, Gas & the Guyanese Future — the second strictly factual and non-partisan, every claim cited to the public documents themselves, because this wealth belongs to a people who understand it: understanding is the citizen’s share. And the shelf climbs the whole ladder the author climbed: study guides for the University of Guyana (the first UG-specific guides ever published), the Hugh Wooding Law School’s L.E.C. subjects, and the international law of the wider world — so a Guyanese child may go from first words to counsel without ever paying for a textbook.
